Privacy Policy

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Keeper’s Cabinet is a desktop software application developed and sold by Thistlewood Meadow LLC, a Utah limited liability company (“Thistlewood Meadow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information in connection with:

Keeper’s Cabinet is currently offered only in the United States and is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. This policy describes our current practices for the Site and the Software. Some features described below — including the Pinterest integration, optional diagnostics and crash reporting, and connections to third-party AI providers — may still be in development or may not be available in every release. Where that is the case, the section describes how the feature handles information if and when you choose to use it. We may offer additional services in the future (for example, an optional cloud service). If we introduce new features that materially change how we handle personal information, we will update this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice before those practices take effect. See Section 14 (Changes to this policy).

2. Our core privacy principle: local-first

Keeper’s Cabinet is designed to be local-first. Your business and inventory information — including your inventory database, product photographs, listing content, and local backups — is stored on your own computer and storage locations that you control , not on Thistlewood Meadow’s servers. As a general matter, we do not have access to, collect, or store your inventory data, photographs, or listing content , and we do not need that content in order for you to use the Software. We keep only the limited information we actually need to sell, license, activate, and support Keeper’s Cabinet, and to operate our website. The sections below explain what that means in practice, and they distinguish:

Because Keeper’s Cabinet is local-first, the following ordinarily remains on your computer and under your control, and is not transmitted to or collected by us:

on your computer. When you uninstall the Software, your data is preserved on your computer unless you separately and deliberately choose to delete it. Deleting your data is a separate, confirmed action. Because your data lives on your own devices, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups; if data stored only on your computer is lost, we may be unable to recover it.

4. Information we collect

4.1 Account and licensing information

To sell, license, activate, and support the Software, we maintain a limited set of account and licensing information, which may include:

4.2 Payment information

When you purchase Keeper’s Cabinet or a paid upgrade, payment is processed by our third- party payment processor, Stripe. Your payment-card details are provided directly to Stripe and are handled under Stripe’s own terms and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. We receive limited transaction information from Stripe — such as a transaction or customer identifier, the status of your payment, and limited billing details needed to confirm and support your purchase.

4.3 Website information

When you visit keeperscabinet.com, our website hosting and security providers automat - ically process certain technical information as part of delivering and protecting the Site. This may include your IP address, browser type, device and operating-system information, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits, recorded in standard server logs and used for security, troubleshooting, and reliable operation of the Site. Our website does not currently collect personal information through contact forms, newsletter or waitlist sign-ups, or similar features , and it uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Site to function and remain secure. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking technologies on the Site. If we add features such as a newsletter or waitlist, or begin using analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy before doing so.

4.4 Optional diagnostics and crash reporting

Keeper’s Cabinet is designed to include optional, opt-in diagnostics and crash reporting to help us identify and fix software problems. This feature is off unless you choose to turn it on, and it is designed to exclude your private seller content (such as inventory records, photographs, listing content, and sales information). If you enable diagnostics, or if you choose to generate and send us a diagnostic package when requesting support, the infor - mation may include technical details such as software version, configuration information, error and crash logs, database-health information, storage-path information, and integration status. We collect only the diagnostic information reasonably necessary to provide support. If a diagnostic package could contain information that identifies you or reveals file paths or account identifiers, the Software will provide appropriate notice so you can decide whether to send it.

4.5 Third-party services you choose to connect

Keeper’s Cabinet lets you connect certain third-party services. These connections are op- tional and user-initiated, and how those third parties handle your information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control. Marketplaces (such as Etsy). If you connect a marketplace account, you authorize the connection through the marketplace’s authorized API and login/authorization process (for example, OAuth). We do not ask for or store your marketplace password; we keep only the authorization tokens technically necessary to maintain the connection, protected with appropriate safeguards. To perform inventory, sales-record, listing-status, and synchroniza- tion functions, the Software processes marketplace transaction information locally on your computer — for example, that a particular item sold, the sale amount, the marketplace, a transaction identifier, and the sale date. We do not want, and do not build, a database of marketplace buyers’ personal information for our own purposes , and we do not use marketplace or buyer information to market to your customers or to build a customer- relationship database. Marketplace buyer and transaction information necessary for these functions remains under your control as the seller. If we ever offer a feature that requires additional buyer personal information or that requires us to receive that information ourselves, we will review it separately and update this policy first. Pinterest. Keeper’s Cabinet offers an optional Pinterest integration (which may still be in development). If you choose to connect your Pinterest account, you authorize the connec - tion through Pinterest’s authorized API and OAuth process. We request only the permissions reasonably necessary to provide the supported functionality — for example, to publish or schedule social-media content that you have reviewed and approved . We keep only the authorization tokens technically necessary to maintain the connection, protected with appropriate safeguards; we do not collect your Pinterest password. You can disconnect or revoke the Pinterest connection at any time through Keeper’s Cabinet and through your Pinterest account settings; when you revoke access, we stop using the connection and delete the associated authorization tokens. Pinterest is an independent third-party platform that we do not own or control, and your use of Pinterest is governed by Pinterest’s own terms and privacy policy. Third-party AI providers. In addition to on-device AI that runs locally on your computer, Keeper’s Cabinet may let you connect a supported third-party AI provider of your choice. If you do, you supply your own credentials (API key) and maintain your own relationship with that provider, including responsibility for the provider’s charges. Where technically feasible, the Software sends your requests directly from your computer to the provider you selected using your credentials; we do not want your photographs, inventory informa- tion, listing content, prompts, or AI responses to be routed through or stored on our systems merely to perform an external AI request. Your use of a third-party AI provider is governed by that provider’s terms and privacy policy, which we do not control.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted or cross- context behavioral advertising. We share the limited information we hold only as follows:

7. We do not sell your information or use your content to train AI

We do not sell your personal information for money or other valuable consideration, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. Providing limited information to vendors that process it only on our behalf and under contract (such as our payment processor and hosting providers), and exchanging information with services you choose to connect at your direction, are not “sales” of your personal information. We do not use your inventory information, photographs, listing content, AI prompts, AI responses, or other seller content to train artificial-intelligence models. If we ever consider a program that would use customer content to improve a product or an AI model, we would seek your separate, affirmative permission first.

8. Data retention

We keep account and licensing information for as long as your account or license is active and as needed to provide the Software and support, and thereafter only as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes such as recordkeeping, resolving disputes, and complying with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations. If you opt into diagnostics, we keep diagnostic information only as long as reasonably necessary to diagnose and fix the relevant problem. Because your inventory data, photographs, and backups reside on your own devices, you control how long that content is retained.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the limited information we process, including protecting the authorization tokens and credentials used for services you connect. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the security of your own computers, operating-system accounts, networks, storage devices, third-party accounts, and passwords. Because Keeper’s Cabinet is local-first, keeping your own backups is important: if information stored only on your computer is lost, we may be unable to recover it.

11. Children’s privacy

Keeper’s Cabinet is a general-audience business product intended only for users 18 years of age or older . It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@keeperscabinet.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Third-party links and services

Our Site and Software may link to or interoperate with third-party websites and services, including marketplaces, Pinterest, AI providers, and our payment processor. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

13. Where we operate

Keeper’s Cabinet is offered in the United States and is intended for U.S. users. We do not currently market or offer Keeper’s Cabinet outside the United States. If we expand internationally, we will review and update this policy to address the requirements that apply in the additional jurisdictions before doing so.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated policy at keeperscabinet.com/privacy. If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we will provide additional notice as appropriate. Your continued use of the Site or Software after an update takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
